TOP 5 // EVERYDAY FASHION ESSENTIALS March 2, 2017
Hi Guys! I’ve been gone for a minute ( I had a baby but am now back for some regular programming, starting with my top 5 fashion esssentials of the moment. My life has changed dramatically in the last four months, and am now reaching for easy, on-the-go, well made pieces. Here’s the top 5 highest on my rotation right now.
1.Dylan Kain LSC pouch: Since I’m now usually traveling with my Longchamp Pliage tote ( the best diaper bag – light and waterproof ) I needed a simple crossbody that held my card case, iphone 6+, lipgloss and sunnies. I love the double pouch feature – but I’ve detached the back pouch – I use it for cosmetics and keep that in the diaper bag. This makes the front section truly essentials only.
2.The Enzo Cashmere Scarf: This beautiful, oversize, 100% cashmere scarf is pure luxury – at a steal of a price! I always grab this charcoal one – or the camel on my way out the door since early spring is so temperamental. It also doubles as a baby blanket, in case for some crazy reason one didn’t make it in the aforementioned tote.
3. The Clyde Coat: I saw this coat at a tradeshow – and even thought this season we were much more excited about investment coats – like Michelle Waugh’s beautiful 100% cashmere line ~ I fell for its super cool texture, slight modern cocoon shape and most of all it’s cheap and cheerful price that I knew you guys would love too. It’s one of the first pieces my Mum grabbed when she was in town ( along w the above Enzo cashmere scarf ) and I had to quickly pull one as well, since I know it will be gone soon..
4.Kaibosh Junebug Remix Sunnies in Turtle: For the girl that wears black all the time — it’s nice to add a touch of tortoise. They are big enough to cover my sleepless – new mom- eyes and I prefer these anti-glare high quality lens to my RayBans as I navigate the stroller and my most precious cargo on New York’s crazy streets.
5.Carbon & Hyde Mikela Ring: I’ve had this ring for ages. 5 years to be exact. So if you calculate the cost-per-wear, ( divide the cost of the item by how many times you’ve worn it ) which I am very fond of doing for jewelry ~ you really get your money’s worth. My next investment from Carbon & Hyde is the evil eye pinky ring – a ton of you have bought this from us – it’s just such a great piece. I’ve been lusting after it forever because I’ve been indecisive with the color. Well it’s all set; rose gold for my left pinky. Will ‘gram about it soon 😉
